The HJGT has joined forces with the Tom Burnett Golf Academy
The HJGT is proud to welcome the Tom Burnett Golf Academy as an official partner of the tour. The Tom Burnett Golf Academy, located at the Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club and St. Johns Golf & Country Club, was established with the mission to grow the game of golf through a three dimensional approach to teaching, while working to be recognized as the Number One provider of quality golf instruction in the world for all levels of players.
The Tom Burnett Golf Academy has taken the lead in teaching and training junior golfers. Under the watchful eye of Academy Instructors, students have gone on to compete in and capture numerous state, regional, and national titles. The Academy has designed a specialized instruction program for those youngsters who have clearly demonstrated above average abilities in the game of golf. Whether a young player is trying to make their high school team, get recruited by a college, or turn professional early, our methods speed up the process while engraining the proper techniques, habits, and process needed to sustain a strong level of play.
“We are honored and delighted with the formation of this partnership, “said Tom Burnett, executive director of the Tom Burnett Golf Academy. “ The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour exemplifies everything we look for in a tour and we are proud to be apart of their progression”.
HJGT members will have the opportunity to benefit from this partnership in many different ways. At select events throughout the year, academy teachers will be onsite to answer questions and to develop a program that fits your needs. The academy offers different levels of instruction from individual lessons to full time intensive programs.
“We are thrilled to have the Tom Burnett Golf Academy on board as an official partner,” said Mario Conte, Executive Director of the HJGT. “Their support will help junior golfers around the world realize their potential and will help us achieve our goal of running the best tournaments and offering maximum exposure for junior golfers”.
